1960: Save The Last Dance For Me

The SixtySong for 1960 was written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, who wrote many other great songs that were in the running for this collection, including "This Magic Moment" and "Suspicion".

The Drifters' version of "Save The Last Dance For Me" featured Ben E. King as lead vocalist. It's a great recording of a great song. Here's my version:
