When TCG was a cover band, "Dream Lover" was one of our favorites. The song was written and recorded by Bobby Darin, and it is a fitting companion piece to the 1958 SixtySong, "All I Have To Do Is Dream". Both tell of a love that isn't quite real ... at least not yet ...
I am a musician and songwriter. When I turned 60 on December 20, 2015, I decided to record a song from each year of my life (so far), and share it with others, along with my thoughts about that song. I also talk about the songs that missed the cut. I reserve the right to change the rules of this blog at any time, at my whim. I hope you enjoy the songs as they show up - please share your thoughts.

1959: Dream Lover
For the 1958 song, I'm joined on-screen by my son, Broderick (aka Brody). Joining us in spirit is the third member of our band, Two-Car Garage - Roger Woods.
