I added a quiet harmony on the bridge, just a soft echo of the harmonies that the Everly Brothers provided. And as always, I hope you enjoy it.
I am a musician and songwriter. When I turned 60 on December 20, 2015, I decided to record a song from each year of my life (so far), and share it with others, along with my thoughts about that song. I also talk about the songs that missed the cut. I reserve the right to change the rules of this blog at any time, at my whim. I hope you enjoy the songs as they show up - please share your thoughts.

1958: All I Have To Do Is Dream
As I note in the introduction for 1958, I was laid up for a while with a bug that wiped out my vocal abilities for a while. I'm more or less up running now, so here's my selection for 1958 - "All I Have To Do Is Dream", written by Boudleaux Bryant. His wife, Felice, may have co-written the song - the reports are conflicting. But when the recording by Don and Phil Everly was released on March 6, 1958, Boudleaux's name was the only writing credit on the 45's label.
I added a quiet harmony on the bridge, just a soft echo of the harmonies that the Everly Brothers provided. And as always, I hope you enjoy it.
