1964: Because

This is the second entry from 1964 - a great song written by Dave Clark, and originally recorded by his band, The Dave Clark Five. 

I love the line, "Give me one kiss, and I'll be happy." I'm sure it's true in the moment, but will it continue to satisfy? Anyway, this was one of the DC5's seventeen Top Forty hits between 1964 and 1967! 

"Because" has some interesting (and challenging) chord changes that keep me staring at my fretboard more than usual. Hope you enjoy it anyway!

As I note in my closing comments, the two songs for 1965 include a song originally performed my the Supremes, and another by Unit 4 + 2. Keep and eye (and an ear) out for them ...
